When I met him, my friend was in his 70’s. Despite being a few generations removed from each other, we quickly found friendship. I was mesmerized in his knowledge and wisdom about…everything. Before retirement, he was a brilliant structural engineer. In addition, he was a master craftsman. Before losing most of his eyesight to a degenerative disease, he was a woodcarver and had shelves of masterpieces lining the walls of his home that he had crafted with his own hands. From time to time I had projects that I had to or wanted to complete. Having never been educated in how to skillfully use tools, I would always ask his opinion. Not only would he advise me with wisdom, but he also helped me take on many of those projects. Some of my fondest memories are the days I learned at the feet of a great man and learned how to work with tools too.
Today’s daily jigsaw puzzle is inspired by my friend’s workbench. This workbench jigsaw puzzle will challenge you somewhat like the challenges I learned to overcome at that workbench. Good luck!
