Our daily jigsaw puzzle today is inspired by a chicken farming adventure we went on a few years ago. Wanting to raise our own animals and produce healthy food lead us to build a custom chicken coop on a 4’x8′ trailer. We call it the Rainbow Eggs puzzle
On our mobile coop, we installed a solar-powered door that let the chickens out each morning and secured them at night automatically. They were surrounded by a solar-powered mesh net that protected them from predators.
Each week we would move the coop to a new location where the chickens could free range on bugs and grass. We also gave them all the leftovers from the garden to bolster their diet. We nurtured them and watched them grow into a beautiful flock.
One day, we discovered our first egg. After that, there were farm-fresh eggs every day. It was a joy to fill the bucket with eggs the color of the rainbow. We hope you enjoy this rainbow eggs puzzle as much as we loved our flock.
