This is our MasterPieces Grandma’s Garden Puzzle Review!
Grandma’s Garden is a premium 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from MasterPieces. Willam Kreutz is the artist who developed this masterpiece and it is provoked by his experience growing up in the Pennsylvania countryside. This puzzle has a way of making you wish you could walk through the rows of the garden, pick a peach out of the orchard, and drifty slowly down the stream in a canoe. As you immerse yourself in the puzzle, you can almost hear the American flag flapping in the breeze over the farmhouse and the chickens clucking through the garden. The imagery is beyond beautiful. It is magical.
Why we bought this puzzle
Our family is dreaming of owning a farm in the very near future and preparing to step into that adventure as soon as we can. We purchased this puzzle from Puzzle Warehouse during a 20% off sale because it inspired us and fueled our dream. When it arrived a couple of days later, we were thrilled.
Experience
The puzzle pieces were quite unique as compared with some of the other brands of puzzles we normally work on. This was a breath of fresh air and fueled our energy to work it so quickly. Overall, the puzzle flowed together nicely. It took 3 multi-hour sessions for two adults to complete it.
The rocks around the lower and left sides of the puzzle as well as the orchard trees were the most difficult to work. Because of the detail and diversity of the puzzle image, some of the other areas were very easy to piece together. This certainly kept us engaged as we worked it.
Quality of Grandma’s Garden
Overall quality was excellent. We found a few pieces that were slightly bent during the manufacturing process but it didn’t degrade the image or the ability for the jigsaw to fit together snugly.
The jigsaw’s linen finish was one of the unique aspects of this puzzle and made for a beautiful finished product. It also takes away the glare from overhead lighting making it easier to work. This puzzle would be ideal to glue and frame if your home has a space that is rustic farmhouse decor.
